A locking compression plate (LCP ) is an implant which allows both conventional placements of screw using non-locking kind of screws, as well as, locking placement of screw which predetermines the angle at which the screw lock into the plate.
LCP clavicle system has consisted primarily of implants which fixate on the superior aspect of the bone.
These implants include the superior anterior clavicle plate (which fits on the superior end laterally and twists midshaft to fit anteriorly on the medial aspect) and the superior clavicle plate with a lateral bow and flat superior design.
