Model Number: 1122401
Application:Posteriorinternal fixation ofthoracolumbar, lumbosacral, coccygealand iliac for fusion and correction
Product Introduction
The Hexagon Straight Rod in the 4.5 system is an essential component within modern posterior spinal fixation procedures. It is used in combination with pedicle screws, set screws, connectors, hooks, and various posterior fixation accessories to achieve stable reconstruction of the thoracic, lumbar, and sacral segments of the spine. Through its precise geometric design and biomechanically optimized material properties, the Hexagon Straight Rod plays a critical role in maintaining spinal alignment, distributing physiological loads, and supporting long-term fusion.
Unlike conventional round rods, the hexagon profile enhances rotational control and stability during intraoperative adjustments. When assembled with the corresponding screw-rod system, the construct provides a strong three-dimensional support structure capable of maintaining correction over time. This is particularly important in procedures involving deformity correction, traumatic injury stabilization, and reconstruction after tumor resection.
The Thoracolumbar Posterior Pedicle Screw and Rod System (CoCrMo Alloy) consists of pedicle screws, rods, set screws, crosslinks, lateral connectors, hooks, and other accessories.
This system is designed to restore spinal alignment, correct deformities, and provide immediate and long-term biomechanical stability following posterior thoracolumbar procedures.
By placing pedicle screws through the vertebral pedicles and connecting them with contoured rods and various components, the system allows for distraction, compression, derotation, and realignment maneuvers.
The assembly forms a stable three-dimensional construct that supports load-sharing and facilitates spinal fusion.
Components are made of TC4 ELI titanium alloy, CoCrMo alloy (Co28Cr6Mo), and pure titanium (TA2G).
