Product Introduction
The lumbar interbody fusion cage is made of a PEEK cage and pure tantalum radiographic markers.
It comes in various specifications with different lengths, widths, and heights.
The cage is implanted between two vertebral bodies, and its design principle is based on the distraction-compression stabilization effect.
According to the action and reaction forces generated by distraction-compression, the cage achieves anti-rotation and anti-shear effects while transmitting axial loads.
This provides immediate and early segmental stability to the intervertebral space, creating a favorable mechanical environment for interbody fusion, ultimately achieving permanent interface fusion.
The upper and lower surfaces of the cage are anatomical, conforming to the anatomical morphology of the vertebral bodies.
The upper and lower surfaces feature serrations to prevent displacement from the intervertebral space.
The central part of the cage is designed with a bone graft space for filling bone graft materials, such as autologous cancellous bone or synthetic bone fillers.
Since polyetheretherketone (PEEK) material is radiolucent to X-rays, radiographic markers made of metal are inserted at specific positions in the company's interbody fusion cage products to facilitate intraoperative and postoperative localization and observation.
