Product Introduction
The Olecranon Locking Plate is designed to provide stable angular fixation by forming a secure bone–screw–plate construct. The core feature of this system is the 20° conical threaded hole, which, when combined with locking screws, delivers reliable angular stability without the need to compress the plate directly onto the bone surface—thus preserving the periosteal blood supply.
The plate's anatomical contour is specially tailored to the olecranon region. Its body features a low-profile design with rounded edges and a highly polished surface to minimize soft tissue irritation. Locking Screw Type I and Cannulated Screw Type II are both engineered with conical heads that match the threaded holes precisely, enhancing fixation strength and maximizing contact with the bone interface.
Locking screws have symmetrical threads and are designed to resist functional stress while minimizing insertion torque. For smaller diameter screws (Φ1.5 mm and Φ2.0 mm), shallow threads improve grip; for larger screws (Φ6.5 mm and Φ7.3 mm), deeper threads ensure optimal fixation in cancellous bone.
In addition, cortical screws feature a spherical head and are designed for use in combination holes to generate axial compression through eccentric insertion. These screws utilize shallow thread designs to balance applied torque and axial force, reducing the risk of screw loosening.
All components are manufactured from high-strength TA3G pure titanium and TC4 titanium alloy, ensuring excellent biocompatibility, mechanical performance, and long-term stability.
